BBC experts, Osi Umenyiora and Jason Bell, have picked out the Steelers vs. 49ers game they think will be significant in week three and explain why below.
But who do you agree with? And who do you have in your weekend picks?
Osi Umenyiora and Jason Bell give their views both are says 49ers will win based on past matches performance,
Sunday: Pittsburgh Steelers at the San Francisco 49ers
Jason: Steelers have lost two and the 49ers have won two – I’m going with the 49ers.
Osi: I’m going with the 49ers. The Steelers are in too much trouble losing Ben Roethlisberger, even though I like the way their back-up quarterback came in and played. I’m sticking with the 49ers.
By opening with wins at Tampa Bay and Cincinnati, the 49ers are poised for their greatest win in Levi’s Stadium history, if they indeed get past the Pittsburgh Steelers (0-2) and their well-traveled fans.
Some more update are given in below
Steelers vs. 49ers Week 3: Time, TV Schedule, and game information
What a difference a week makes. Week 2 of the NFL season is now behind us and new challenges for Week 3 are on the horizon as the Pittsburgh Steelers head west to take on George Kittle, Kyle Shanahan, and the rest of the San Francisco 49ers. While the Steelers are staring down a 0-2 record, they face a 2-0 49ers team who have won their first two games by 14 and 24 points. ( Source: BEHINDTHESTEELCURTAIN reports)
After suffering severe injuries to their franchise quarterback and starting safety, the Steelers placed Ben Roethlisberger and Sean Davis on the Reserved/Injured List. Can Mason Rudolph get the job done? Will newly acquired safety Minkah Fitzpatrick make an impact his first week? Will the entire team step up in Roethlisberger’s absence? Can the Steelers dig out of their 0-2 hole and remain relevant for the 2019 season?
This Sunday should answer many of these questions as the new-look Steelers give fans a glimpse into the remainder of 2019. Make sure you get all the information you need below so you can enjoy the Week 3 showdown:
